Interdisciplinary Scholarship Series Continues
The Interdisciplinary Scholarship Series (ISS) began in fall 2009 as an
opportunity for faculty to engage in collegial discussion topics and
promote interdisciplinary scholarship at Rollins. The ISS was developed
by Charlie Rock, professor of economics, Don Davison, associate dean of
the faculty and professor of political science, and Laurie Joyner, dean
of the faculty and professor of sociology. Three ISS events were
organized for the fall semester and four additional programs have been
scheduled for spring.

Sigma Gamma Rho's Founder's Week Inspires Service and Progress
The ladies of the Omicron Lambda chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho invited the
entire campus to a variety of events to celebrate founder’s week;
events focused on the theme of their sorority motto, “Greater Service,
Greater progress,” an idea that every Sigma woman should embrace and

Life is a Cabaret
Cabaret is set in pre World War II Germany where the characters forget
their troubles by descending into the racy depths of the Kit Kat Club.
The Annie Russell Theatre’s second play of the season opened on
November 13 and runs through November 21. It showcases the new lighting
abilities of the recently renovated electrical system and features a
full complement of actors, singers, musicians, and dancers. This show
