Make Movie Magic At This Year's Campus MovieFest

Filming for Campus MovieFest will officially begin on Tuesday, Feb. 16, which is both the last day of sign-ups and the first day of allowed filming for each competing team.
Teams can register on-line at www.campusmoviefest.com, or in Darden Lounge. Upon sign up, each student will receive an Apple laptop with movie editing software, an HD camera and an AT&T cell phone with 24/7 support for any questions they may have. All equipment will be available for pick up in the Darden Lounge and must be returned to that location at the end of the week. The last day of filming is Feb. 23.
On Feb. 25, after a two-day judging process, the selected movies will premiere in the Alfond Sports Center at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. The theme this year is "Mardi Gras, Masquerade Style" - dress in gold, green, and purple, or bring a mask of your choosing! Continue the festivities at an after-party in Dave's Down Under at 10 p.m.; during this event, All Campus Events will reveal the main act for this year's Spring Concert. Be a part of the largest attended event on campus and show your school spirit! Try your hand at movie making, or come out and support your fellow classmates!
