Rollins Celebrates America Recycles Day with "Rollins Market Days"
November 06, 2009
On November the 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Campus Center, Eco-Rollins will be celebrating "America Recycles Day" on campus by providing an opportunity for Rollins organizations to showcase their initiatives to the community.
In co-operation with Eco-Rollins, the Organic Gardeners of Rollins (OGR) have invited organizations like the Orlando Food Co-op and Slow Food Orlando to set up tables and provide locally grown, ethically harvested, and lovingly prepared food to the attendees. There will be a number of student artists selling and showing their work, with artisans from off-campus as well.
Eco-Rollins will have a number of t-shirt design workshops and OGR will be having a "Seed Bomb" workshop as well as reveale its "Moss Graffiti" sign and our student garden.
So come enjoy the first of hopefully many "Rollins Market Days."
