Q: I need help right now! Who do I call?
A: Call Classroom Technology at 407-646-2357 (campus ext 2357).
Q: How far in advance can an equipment reservation be made?
A: As soon as you know when and where you will need it, reserve the equipment through Scheduling and Event Services.
Q: The projector won't turn on, what should I do?
A: Either activate the room using the Crestron control panel or turn the projector on using the remote. The remote should have a button labeled power. Aim the remote at the projector and press the power button. You should see a faint blue glow from the lens and hear the fan turn on. Please remember to turn off the Crestron system or projector when finished with the room.
Q: The projector is on, why can't I see my laptop?
A: Make sure the 15-pin VGA cable is attached firmly to the connector in the wall, and into the back of the laptop.
Make sure the projector is on the correct input, source or mode (the name varies with projector make and model) (with rare exception that will be RGB or Data 1).
Check to make sure your laptop screen resolution is set no greater than 1024x768.
Press the combination of FN (lower left on the laptop) and F3,4,5,or 7 on your laptop (whichever either has a small square on it or says CRT/LCD on it) this is a three position toggle that will send either all signal to the laptop screen, all to the projector or both (which is what you want).
Please remember to turn off the Crestron system or projector when finished with the room.
Q: How do I get help with audio systems in Galloway, Bush Aud, the sports complex or a portable system?
