We Need Your help to Tell the Rollins Story!
R-Net is Your Net.

R-Net is the place to go to for the latest College news and information. As the internal hub for students, faculty and staff, R-Net features news about campus programs, events and initiatives as well as student, faculty and staff achievements.

  • If your department or student organization has an event or program to promote to other members of the campus community, complete the Submit News Form.
  • Please provide the information at least 10 working days in advance.
  • If your event is open to the general public and you believe it may be of interest to the media, please provide the information at least four weeks in advance. A member of the News Bureau will contact you for more information.

  • Faculty Highlights and Kudos respectively showcase faculty or student and staff achievements. If you have news to share about publishing, appointments, presentations, awards or other achievements please send an email to news@rollins.edu. In the subject line note either Faculty Highlight or Kudos. Please include a  description of your highlight and a photograph or attachment (book cover, etc.) if available.

  • New this year, Campus Spotlight features members of the Rollins community— students, faculty or staff— who have made a positive impact on the campus community. Nominate someone who you believe goes above and beyond in demonstrating the College's values and/or enhancing the quality of Rollins through active participation in the community as a global citizen and responsible leader. To submit your nomination, please send a description of this individual's contributions to news@rollins.edu noting Campus Spotlight in the subject line.

*Items should be well written and contain relevant, useful and timely information. Individuals submitting news items are responsible for the accuracy of the information. The Office of Public Relations & Communications reserves all editorial rights.

If you wish to submit your event for publication on the Rollins College Event Calendar, please submit using the Submit an Event Form through Events Scheduling. Submitting a news story will not post your event on the Rollins College calendar. 

Rollins College Online Calendar Event Promotion Policy

The location for your event must be reserved and confirmed by the Office of Events Scheduling prior to completing this form to promote your event online. Please refer to the campus-wide Events Scheduling Procedures to ensure you are following the correct process.

The Rollins online events calendar features college-sponsored, college-co-sponsored and/or college-related events. Please see Guidelines for College Facilities Use for explanation of event types.

Please provide concise and accurate information about your event. You may include attachments, photos and videos that are relevant to your event. Avoid using all caps in any section of your posting.

Please note: This event description will be available via the Rollins College online calendar. Please carefully edit your copy using correct grammar.

Rollins.edu Home Page Events Policy

Placement on the home page is reserved for college-sponsored, college-co-sponsored and/or college-related events that are open to the public. The Office of Public Relations & Communications will determine which events are featured on the www.rollins.edu home page based on the number of events taking place concurrently; the event’s significance and relation to the College’s mission.   Events not selected for the home page will still appear on the events calendar.
