Ilan Alon and Jonathan Walz visit India as Part of the IIE initiative

The Institute of International Education (IIE) recently announced Rollins College as one of ten U.S. colleges and universities to participate in the 2012 India initiative of the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP).

As a part of this initiative implemented by IIE, Professor of International Business Ilan Alon and Assistant Professor of Anthropology Jonathan R. Walz will visit India on January 28, 2012 for a week to explore relations with Indian educational institutions, to learn about recruitment possibilities, and to seek out new opportunities for faculty and students at Rollins. They will also visit highly reputed institutions in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and New Delhi.

Founded in 1919, IIE with network of 18 offices worldwide and over 1,000 member institutions, designs and implements programs for students, educators, government agencies, foundations, and corporations. The organization also conducts policy research and program evaluations, and provides advising and counseling on international education and opportunities abroad.
