Professor of Crummer Graduate School Clay Singleton Appointed to a George D. and Harriet W. Cornell Chair

Professor of Crummer Graduate School Clay Singleton has been appointed to a George D. and Harriet W. Cornell Chair, effective September 1st.
Professor Singleton, a past senior vice president for curriculum and examination at the CFA Institute and former dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of North Texas, has served as a Professor of Finance in the Crummer Graduate School of Business since 2002. His research on investments and finance has appeared in numerous journals and his textbook, Core-Satellite Portfolio Management, is published by McGraw-Hill. He is the recipient of the 2009 Cornell Distinguished Teaching Award. The Cornell Chairs are made possible by the late George Cornell’s generous bequest to the College. Clay succeeds Jim Higgins, who retired this spring.
