Grant and Scholarship Application Instructions

Limited funds are available for matriculated students of the Master of Liberal Studies program (MLS) and are provided by our generous donors and the MLS program of Rollins College. Awards are based on financial need and academic performance. Generally, students who receive corporate tuition support are not eligible for scholarships; however, special cases may be considered for a student with extenuating circumstances. Scholarships must be used in full during the academic year for which they are awarded (e.g., fall and spring). Renewal of scholarships in succeeding years is based on availability of funds, student financial need, and academic record. Renewal forms are required each year for scholarship renewal. The deadline for scholarship applications is April 1 each year.

Grant and Scholarship Applicants should:

  • Apply and be accepted for admission to the MLS program as a degree-seeking student.
  • Pay the non-refundable $350 deposit fee, which will be deducted from the fall tuition.

To Apply:

  • An MLS application form (available in January) must be completed and received by April 1.
  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) must also be completed online and the results received by April 1.  The FASFA Web site is http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.  The code for Rollins is 001515.
