Jonathan R. Walz Presents at State University of Zanzibar, Tanzania

Assistant Professor of Anthropology Jonathan R. Walz recently visited the State University of Zanzibar in Tanzania and made a presentation titled, "The Ancient Hinterland of Northeastern Tanzania: New Evidence from Systematic Archaeology." The presentation reported on the archaeological finds in the region and how they shift the way scholars think about the long-term past of coastwise East Africa during the last 1,500 years.
