Tonia Warnecke and Students Present Paper at International Association for Feminist Economics Conference

This summer, Assistant Professor of Economics Tonia Warnecke traveled to China with students Lucas Hernandez (Class of 2013) and Nicholas Nunn (Class of 2012). The student-faculty team presented the paper "Female Entrepreneurship in China: Necessity- or Opportunity-Based?" at the International Association for Feminist Economics conference in Hangzhou. The conference was attended by academicians, researchers and representatives of major international policymaking institutions, altogether spanning five continents. This interdisciplinary research was supported by the Student-Faculty Collaborative Scholarship Program.
