Dan Chong Speaks at Amnesty International's 50th Anniversary Conference

On March 29, Assistant Professor of Political Science Dan Chong spoke at Amnesty International's 50th Anniversary Conference in the Hague, Netherlands.  Speaking about “Freedom from Poverty and the Legal Approach to Subsistence Rights,” Chong participated in the international symposium “Human Rights: The Last Utopia?” attended by more than 100 participants including the Dutch ministry of foreign affairs and Sir Louis Blom-Cooper, who was closely involved in the campaign that lead to the establishment of Amnesty International.
