Associate Professor of History Julian Chambliss recently presented at the Social Science History Association national conference, held in Chicago, IL. "After Chicago: The Comprehensive Plan, Atlanta, and Remaking the Southern City" focuses on the pursuit of urban development in the south in the early twentieth century. The paper explores the impact of the civic activism in Atlanta and the links to the Chicago Plan.
